Once mounted, the built-in gimbal mount allows you to precisely position the camera to get the desired shot. Furthermore, the construction is entirely made of steel, thus there are no plastic parts that could break in use. Every Browning Trail Camera has a standard 14 inch -20 threaded insert on the bottom that is where the tree mount attaches. (NOTE: Defender series cameras cannot be used with tree mounts.)
