VTech VM312 Digital Video Baby Monitor

VTech VM312 Video Baby Monitor is designed for crystal clear monitoring throughout your baby’s first years. The VM312 comes in two parts, the rechargeable parent unit and the multi use baby camera unit. The parent unit has a simple ergonomic design that incorporates a back lit 2″ LCD screen displaying a clear image of your baby’s room at up to 25 frames per second in real time. The parent unit can also be used to access the menu for the monitor, this menu includes settings for volume, brightness and voice activation control. The parent unit again has a microphone included so you can communicate with your child using the built in two way talk to soothe them if the stir at night. The baby unit camera plugs directly in to your baby’s room and constantly keeps an eye out for your little one, the camera will display an image on the monitor screen up to 300 meters away outside and around 50 meters indoors. The camera itself has a simple ball joint that allows you to tilt & position it in any direction for your preferred view point, the camera itself is wall mountable and can be screwed in using the clip positions on the base of the camera. The camera has 3 buttons on the front, a power button, a pairing button and a volume button, the volume button controls the volume of the speaker on the camera when talking with your baby. To ensure you never loose sight of your baby the camera unit has 4 infra-red LED’s built into the front which turn on automatically at night and allow the camera to view your babies room in complete darkness up to 5 meters ahead, as well as this the camera also has a white noise to remove unwanted interference from the audio signal.
