Featuring a 2.0″ LCD screen with 25fps, the monitor provides a clear real-time image of your baby’s nursery with a fully interactive menu allowing you to adjust the volume and brightness settings to suit your own preference. On the front of the parent unit, you will also find the two-way communication talk-back feature button. This allows you to instantly connect with your baby and talk to them directly through the monitor to soothe them into a peaceful sleep. The 2.4GHz FHSS technology offers a more reliable wireless connection than previous cordless technologies, which means a better range and less chance of you missing something important in your baby’s room due to a weak or dropped signal. When the parent unit screen is turned off manually, you can even set the screen to be turned on automatically when there are sounds detected from the baby unit after twenty seconds of silence. The parent screen will turn off automatically when no sounds are detected from the baby unit within fifty seconds. Additionally, the set of five LED lights indicates the level of sound so that you can visually monitor the noise level while the receiver is muted. The camera unit has a slimline design that allows for it to be wall-mounted at any angle thanks to its rotating hinge. This means that you are always able to get the best viewing angle to see your little one’s cot or bed, so you won’t miss a thing. The VTech VM312 Video Baby Monitor also has four infrared LED lights for the automatic night vision that switches on a preset light level, this allows you to see clearly regardless of how dark your nursery is.
