The Premium 470 SPI-A self propelled 4 in 1 electric start mower from AL-KO is a top of the range electric start mower with an 18 inch/46cm cutting width, single speed power drive and AL-KO Pro 170 QSS key start engine. Featuring a taller MaxAirFlow steel cutting deck to improve grass collection and help to prevent the discharge channel from becoming blocked. The 4 in 1 function gives the user the choice between cut and collect, rear discharge, side discharge and mulching. Cut and collect the clippings into the EasyClick 70 litre collector with fill level indicator that lets you know when it needs emptying. Rear discharge enables the machine to eject the clippings from the rear of the machine where they can wilt back naturally. Side discharge ejects the cuttings from the side of the mower, leaving them in neat rows and you mow. Mulching is a particularly beneficial option, especially in hotter, drier conditions. Mulching reduces the clippings into tiny pieces that are blown back onto the lawn where they virtually disappear. They then provide the lawn with additional nutrients and moisture that promotes healthier regrowth. 7 cutting height positions ranging through 30-80mm that can be adjusted easily with the spring assisted central lever.
