The Premium 470 VS-B variable speed 4 in 1 petrol mower from AL-KO is a top of the range mower fitted with an 18 inch/46cm cutting width, variable speed power drive and Briggs & Stratton 650EXI engine. Replacing the Highline 477 Vario, the 470 VS-B features a taller MaxAirFlow steel deck which improves collection and helps to prevent the discharge channel from becoming blocked. The 4 in 1 function gives the user the option to choose between cut and collect, rear discharge, side discharge and mulching. Cut and collect in to the EasyClick 70 litre grass collector with fill level indicator to let you know when it needs emptying. The rear discharge option ejects cuttings from the rear of the mower allowing you to leave them to wilt back naturally. Side discharge ejects cuttings from the side of the mower, leaving them in neat rows as you mow. Mulching is particularly beneficial, especially in hotter, drier conditions. Mulching reduces cuttings into tiny pieces, blowing them back on to the lawn where they virtually disappear. They then provide your lawn with additional moisture and nutrients that promote healthier regrowth. 7 cutting height positions ranging through 30-80mm which can be easily adjusted with the central spring assisted lever.
